On Wednesday, Mr. Vineet Kumar, 2012 batch IAS officer from Punjab cadre, has taken over as Deputy Commissioner (DC), Ferozepur. After assuming office he said that people would not be disturbed in office work and he will make all possible efforts to extend the benefits of the schemes being run by the Punjab government to the residents of the district.
Earlier, He had served as Special Secretary of Personnel Department, SDM at Talwandi Sabho, Additional Deputy Commissioner at District Ferozepur and in Mining & Industry Department at Chandigarh.
