Due to her marriage to Ajit Balaji Joshi IAS (Haryana 2003), Ms Gauri Parasher Joshi IAS (Odisha 2009) was granted an inter-cadre transfer from Odisha to Punjab. Likewise, Ajit Balaji Joshi IAS (Haryana 2003) was granted an inter-cadre transfer from Haryana to Punjab (Odisha 2009).
Both Amit Kumar Singhal IRS (C & CE 2007), who is currently the Director of the Central Vigilance Commission, and Shri Manish Tiwari IRTS (1995), who is currently the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, have received premature repatriation to their parent cadres.
IAS officer T Sreekanth from the 2004 batch of AGMUT cadre, currently posted as the Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the competent authority has approved the proposal to repatriate Sreekanth to his parent cadre on personnel grounds with the imposition of extended cooling-off condition up to 25.06.2026.
