Three IAS Officers Given Additional Charges in Rajasthan

In a transfer order issued by the Rajasthan government, three IAS officers have been given additional charges within the state's departments.

Two IAS officers who have been given the additional charge are from the 2006 batch, whereas, one is from the 2007 batch.

  • Dr. Om Prakash, a 2006 batch IAS officer from Assam Meghalaya cadre, currently serving as Commissioner, Agriculture, Horticulture And Panchayati Raj (Agriculture) Department, Rajasthan, Jaipur, has now been also given additional charge as Chairman- Rajasthan State Seeds Corporation Jaipur.
  • 2007 batch IAS officer, Kailash Bairwa has been given an additional charge of Commissioner- Rajasthan River Basin and Water Resources Planning Authority, Jaipur. He is currently holding the charge of Special Secretary To Government, Water Resources Department, Rajasthan, Jaipur.
  • Batchmate of Om Prakash, IAS officer V Saravana Kumar who was presently holding the charge of Special Secretary To Government, Home Department, Rajasthan, Jaipur, has been given additional charge as Special Secretary To Government, School Education Department and Elementary Education Deptt, Jaipur.
