18 IPS Officers Reshuffled in Kerela

According to an order issued by the Kerala government, 18 IPS officers have been transferred and given new postings

Following are the officers’ names and their positions:

  1. IPS K Padma Kumar of batch 1989 Kerala, ADGP, Armed Police Battalion, is now transferred and appointed as ADGP, Headquarters.
  2. The Taxes Department is given access to IPS Yogesh Gupta of batch 1993, Kerela, ADGP, State Crime Records Bureau, and is appointed as Managing Director of Kerala State Beverages Corporation Limited.
  3. IPS Manoj Abraham of batch 1994, Kerala, ADGP, Headquarters, has been assigned as ADGP, Vigilance after being transferred.
  4. IPS M R Ajithkumar of batch 1995, Kerala, the ADGP, Protection of Civil Rights, has been transferred and assigned as the ADGP, Armed Police Battalions with the added responsibility of the ADGP, Protection of Civil Rights.
  5. IPS Thummala Vikram of batch 1998, Kerala, IGP of Security has been transferred and appointed as IGP of the north zone.
  6. IPS Ashok Yadav of 1998 batch, Kerala, IGP of the north zone is now posted as IGP of security.
  7. IPS S Syamsundar of batch 2005, Andra Pradesh, Managing Director of Kerala State Beverages Corporation Limited, has been repatriated to the Police Department and been assigned to the position of DIGP, Crimes.
  8. District Police Chief for Kozhikode Rural, Dr. A Srinivas an IPS of batch 2009, Kerela, is transferred and appointed as SP for the State Special Branch, Security.
  9. District Police Chief of Ernakulam Rural IPS K Karthick of batch 2011, Kerala has been transferred and appointed as SP of State special branch of security.
  10. IPS Narayanan T of batch 2011, Kerala who is the commissioner of police in Kollam city is now transferred as Additional AIGP of headquarters.
  11. IPS Merin Joseph of batch 2013, Kerala, who was currently serving as SP in headquarters is now transferred and appointed as commissioner of police in Kollam city.
  12. IPS Karuppasamy R of batch 2013, Kerala, serving as district police chief in Idukki is now transferred and appointed as District police chief in Kozhikode rural.
  13. IPS Arvind Sukumar of batch 2016, Kerala who was district police chief in Kottayam is transferred and has been appointed Commandant of the KAP IV Battalion.
  14. IPS Shilpa D of batch 2016, Kerala, who is District Police Chief in Kottayam, is transferred and assigned the duties of Commandant, Women Battalion in addition to SP, Women Cell.
  15. IPS Anand R of batch 2016, Kerala, who was serving as Additional AIGP, Headquarters, has been transferred and appointed as the District Police Chief in Wayanad.
  16. IPS Vivek Kumar of batch 2017, Kerala who was Commandant, KAP IV in Battalion is transferred and appointed as District Police Chief in Idukki.
  17. IPS Vishnu Pratheep of batch 2018, Kerela, who was assistant SP in Thalassery, is transferred and is now appointed as Assistant SP in Perambra.
  18. IPS Nidhinraj P of batch 2019, Kerela who was an assistant SP in Pala is now transferred and appointed as Assistant SP, in Thalassery.
