3 IPS Officers Transferred In Tripura

In a minor administrative rejig, three IPS officers have been appointed with a new charge. IPS Kulwant Singh appointed as SP, South Tripura.

In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, three IPS officers have been transferred and appointed with a new charge.

According to the transfer list, IPS officer Kulwant Singh has been appointed as the new SP of South Tripura replacing Jal Singh Meena. He was currently serving as the Commandant, TSR 13th Battalion, Tripura.

Whereas, Jal Singh Meena has been appointed as Commandant, Tripura State Rifles (TSR) 3rd Battalion with its headquarters at Delhi and has also been given an additional charge of AIG-TSR.

Lastly, Sankar Debnath who was currently serving as SP (Vigilance) and additional charge of SP (Special Branch), Tripura has been appointed as SP (Special Branch) and with an additional charge of SP (Vigilance).
