In this list, five IPS officers of Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav, Anita Punj, S.S. Srivastava, Parveen Kumar Sinha and Amardeep Singh Rai are also included. All of them have been selected to be included in the investigation agencies of the Center. Joining the panel means that all five officers are eligible to be appointed in central agencies like the Research and Analysis Wing, Central Bureau of Investigation, Intelligence Bureau, National Investigation Agency, National Security.
At present, two officers of the Punjab Police are already working at the DGP level post at the Centre, with Punjab cadre IPS officer Samant Goyal heading the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and Dinkar Gupta heading the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
