Gujarat: 20 IPS Officers Transferred, IPS RB Brahmbhatt Will Be New ADGP of CID

1995-batch IPS officer of Gujarat cadre, R B Brahmbhatt has been appointed as the new ADGP of state CID (Crime and Railways), relieving DGP Ashish Bhatia of the additional charge of the CID, a notification issued by the state home department on Saturday said.

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle ahead of the Gujarat Assembly elections at the end of this year, the Gujarat government has been transferred 20 IPS officers. 2011-batch IPS officer RT Susara has been given the charge of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Zone-I, Surat city, while 2013-batch IPS officer Usha Rada has been posted as DCP, Zone-III, Surat city. Anand District Superintendent of Police Ajit Rajian has been given the charge of DCP, Cyber Crime, Ahmedabad City.
A notification regarding this has been issued. In a notification issued by the Gujarat Home Department, RB Brahmbhatt, a 1995 batch IPS officer of Gujarat cadre, has been appointed as the new ADGP of the state CID (Crime and Railways). Director General of Police (DGP) Ashish Bhatia has been relieved of the additional charge of CID.
