1995 batch IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, Amrendra Kumar Sengar and 2000 batch IPS officer of Bihar cadre, Ganesh Kumar has been appointed as Inspector Generals (IG) of Sashashtra Seema Bal (SSB). Mr. Amrendra Kumar has been laterally shifted from IG, NDRF.
In an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday (09.11.2022), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Sengar to post from the date of joining the post until 6.12.2023 or until further orders are issued, whichever is earlier. His central deputation tenure was also extended in the same order.
IPS Ganesh Kumar has been named as IG of SSB) for a period of five years. In an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday (09.11.2022), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Kumar to post from the date of assumption of the charge or until further orders are issued, whichever is earlier.
