The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued the order of transferring eight IPS officers to the capital. The officers that have been transferred are:
- I D Shukla, appointed as the Special CP, Security.
- Sagar Preet Hooda, appointed as Joint CP, Special Cell.
- O P Mishra posted as Joint CP, Licensing.
- David Lalrinsanga posted as Special CP, P & L.
- Devesh Chandra appointed as Special CP, EOW.
- A V Deshpande given the post of Additional CP, SPUWAC.
- Geeta Rani Verma posted as Additional CP, Armed Police.
- Romila Baaniya appointed as Additional CP, G.A.
