Thursday brought along the reshuffle of higher echelon of IPS level through the transfer of seven officers.
The officers that have been transferred are:
- Dr. Sudhanshu Sharngi has been posted as the OSD, Home Department.
- IPS Lalit Das has been posted as the Director Intellegence
- IPS RK Sharma has been posted as the Addl. DG (Law and Order)
- IPS Jaswant Jethwa has been posted as the Vigilance Director
- Sanjeeb Panda has been posted as the Addl. DG Police (Crime Branch)
- Mr. Arun Bothra has been posted as the Transport Commissioner
- Mr. Asit Panigrahi has been posted as the IG Vigilance
