UP Government Transfers IPS Officers

Highlights
With the transfer of 4 Deputy Superintendents of Police in UP on Wednesday night, IPS officers of 5 PACs have been given additional charge in the Special Security Force.

The Government of Uttar Pradesh has transferred 4 DSPs to other districts and assigned additional charges to 5 IPS officers of the PAC. In the transfer made by the Home Department, these five IPS officers have been given responsibility in the branches of the Special Security Force.
The 4 DSPs that have been transferred are:
- Shankar Prasad has been sent from the Deputy Superintendent of Police, PAC Headquarters Lucknow to the Deputy Superintendent of Police Security Headquarters Lucknow.
- Balram has been sent from Moradabad as DSP of Ghazipur, Deputy Superintendent of Police.
- Rajeev Dwivedi has been made Deputy Superintendent of Police ATS Lucknow from Ghazipur DSP.
- Atish Kumar Singh has been made Deputy Superintendent of Police ATS Lucknow from DSP Security Headquarters Lucknow.
- IPS Jai Prakash has been given additional charge of 1st Corps Special Security Force Lucknow with 32nd Corps PAC Lucknow
- Kuntal Kishore has been given charge of 26th Corps PAC Gorakhpur along with 2nd Corps Special Security Force Gorakhpur
- Avinash Pandey has been given additional charge of 3rd Corps Special Security Force Prayagraj with 4th Corps PAC Prayagraj.
- Sanjay Singh has been given the charge of 4th Corps Special Security Force Mathura along with 45th Corps PAC Aligarh.
- Suryakant Tripathi has been given additional charge of Fifth Corps in Special Security Force of Saharanpur with 44th PAC Meerut.
