In a major reshuffle in police department, Bhagwant Mann led Punjab government has transferred 18 police officer including 16 IPS officers. IPS Naunihal Singh has been replaced by IPS Jaskaran Singh as Amritsar Police Commissioner.
While IPS Arunpal Singh will be ADGP of Modernization Punjab Chandigarh and IPS R.K. Jaiswal appointed as ADGP of STF Punjab. IPS Gurinder Singh Dhillon has been appointed as the ADGP law & order along with Arpit Shukla.
IPS Surinderpal Singh Parmar has been named as ADGP, Bathinda range and many other police officers have been given special responsibilities.
