Ashish Choudhary, a 2003 batch IPS officer from Punjab, currently serving as DIG, National Investigation Agency (NIA), has now been appointed as IG, NIA.
According to an order issued by the Ministry Home Affairs, the competent authority approved the appointment of Mr. Choudhary to the post against vacancy arising with effect from 22.01.2023 vice Nitish Kumar (IPS:1999:AGMUT).
