In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Police department in Tamil Nadu, the M K Stalin led state government has transferred and posted 27 senior IPS officers on 5th of August.

2002 batch IPS officer Dr J Loganathan has been appointed as the new Police Commissioner of Madurai City. He was serving as the Additional CoP, Headquarters, Chennai.

While 2004 batch IPS officer N Kamini who is IGP, Civil Supplies CID (CS-CID), Chennai has been transferred and posted as the new Police Commissioner of Trichy City.

N Z Asiammal, who was the IG of the Economic Offenses Division, has now taken over as the IG of Chennai Police. While Sathyapriya, TNPSC Group – I officer belonging to the 1997 batch and was conferred IPS rank later, has taken over the post of IG of the Economic Offenses Division, which he has been in charge of till now.

Rajeev Kumar, an IPS officer of 1992, has been posted as DGP, Training, Police Training College, Chennai.

1997 batch IPS officer Abhin Dinesh Modak who is ADGP, EOW, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, SCRB, Chennai.

B Bala Naga Devi, an IPS officer of 1995 batch, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, EOW, Chennai. She was ADGP, Administration, Chennai.

Vinit Dev Wankhede, an IPS officer of 1995 batch and ADGP, SCRB, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Administration, Chennai.

Asra Garg, an IPS officer of 2004 batch, has been appointed as Additional Commissioner of Law and Order, Chennai North.

2003 batch IPS officer R Sudhakar has been posted as Additional Commissioner of Traffic Police, Greater Chennai Police. He was IG, Coimbatore.

2002 batch IPS officer K Bhavaneeswari, IPS has been appointed as IG West Zone. Coimbatore. She was IGP/ Joint Director, Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Chennai.

K S Narenthiran Nayar, an IPS officer of 2005 batch, has been transferred and posted as IGP, South Zone, Maduari. He was serving as IGP/Commissioner of Police, Madurai city.

2005 batch IPS officer M Sathiya Priya who is IGP/ Commissioner of Police, Trichy City, has been transferred and posted as IGP, EOW, Chennai.

2008 batch IPS officer Ramya Bharti has been posted as DIG, Madurai. She was serving as DIGP/Joint Commissioner of Police, Law & Order, North Zone, Chennai.

Santosh Kumar, an IPS officer of 2002 batch and IGP, Modernisation, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as IGP/ Joint Director, Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Chennai.
