The Madhya Pradesh government on Monday (31.07.2023) implemented a significant reshuffle in the police administration, resulting in the transfer of 33 IPS officers. As per the order issued by the state government, 10 new Superintendents of Police (SPs) have been appointed to various districts in the state as part of the restructuring process. This move aims to bring about administrative changes and ensure effective law enforcement and governance in the respective districts.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
- 1988 batch IPS officer Arvind Kumar (MP cadre) who is the DG, Jail, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as DG, Home Guard.
- 1989 batch IPS officer Rajesh Chawala (MP cadre) who is the Director, Directorate of Public Grievances, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as DG, Jail, Bhopal.
- 1989 batch IPS officer Sushma Singh (MP cadre) who is the Special DG, Vigilance, PHQ, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as Director, Directorate of Public Grievances, Bhopal.
- 1992 batch IPS officer Pawan Kumar Srivastava (MP cadre) who is the ADG, PHQ, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as ADG, Vigilance, PHQ, Bhopal.
- 2006 batch IPS officer Chandrashekhar Solanki (MP cadre) who is the DIG, Rural Range, Indore with additional charge of DIG, Khargone Range, Khargone, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Khargone Range, Khargone.
- 2010 batch IPS officer Siddharth Bahuguna (MP cadre) who is the SP, Ratlam, has been transferred and posted as AIG, PHQ, Bhopal.
- 2010 batch IPS officer Vineet Kapoor (MP cadre) who is the DCP (Hqrs), City Police, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as AIG, PHQ, Bhopal.
- 2010 batch IPS officer Vijay Khatri (MP cadre) who is the DCP, (Zone-4), City Police, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 2nd Bn, SAF, Gwalior.
- 2010 batch IPS officer Vineet Kumar Jain (MP cadre) who is the Commandant, 5th Bn, SAF, Murena, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 13th Bn, Gwalior.
