Reshuffle in J&K Government

2009 batch IAS Sarmad Hafeez has been made the Administrative Secretary- Tourism department and will have additional charge of Cultural department as well.

The Jammu and Kashmir Government has reshuffled six Indian Administrative officers in the entire state. The recent order include some seniors officers as well. According to the order 2009 batch IAS Sarmad Hafeez has been made the Administrative Secretary- Tourism department and will have additional charge of Cultural department as well. He was presently posted as the Administrative Secretary of Youth Services & Sports department.

Similarly, Syed Sehrish Asgar has been given the charge of Additional Secretary Information Department. The 2013 batch officer of Punjab cadre was previously the Director of Information. 2014 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh Cadre Rahul Pandey has been appointed as the Lieutenant Governor’s Secreatriat. He will have additional charge of Director Information.

On the other hand Krittika Jyotsana has been appointed as the CEO, Jammu & Kashmir Energy Development Agency while Athar Aamir Khan will be the Commissioner of Srinagar Municipal Corporation. 2018 batch officer of Tripura cadre will take charge as SDM – Srinagar west
