Satyendra Garg, a 1987-batch IPS officer, appointed as DGP, Andaman and Nicobar

Senior IPS officer Satyendra Garg has been appointed as DGP of Andaman and Nicobar. Garg has been given charge after currently serving DGP, Deependra Pathak transferred to Delhi.   

Garg was joint secretary in the Union home ministry and handling the northeast division of  MHA. He is a 1987-batch IPS officer.
