The Central government on Saturday granted IPS officer Arun Kumar Sinha (1987, KL) DG rank by temporarily upgrading the post of Director, SPG to the level of DG, as a measure personal to the officer.
Three senior IPS officers were granted Special DG rank. The list goes as follows:
