The Tamil Nadu govt, in a major administrative reshuffle, shifted 54 IPS officers in the state.
The officers who have been shifted with new responsibilities:
- Deepak M Damor has been transferred and posted as IG/Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board.
- M T Ganeshmoorthy has been made Inspector General (IG) of Police, Idol Wing CID, Chennai.
- TS Anbu has been transferred and appointed as IG/Commissioner of Police, Tirunelveli city.
- PC Thenmozhi has been given the charge of IG, Crime Branch CID, Chennai.
- Vijay Jayant Kulkarni will take over as IG/Additional Commissioner of Police, Central Crime Branch, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai.
- K Bhavaneeswari has been made Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP), Traffic, Chennai.
- K Shankar has been posted as IG, North Zone, Chennai.
- N Kannan has been appointed as ACP, Law and Order, South, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai.
- R Dhinakaran will be assuming the charge of IG, West Zone, Coimbatore.
- Santosh Kumar will take over as IG/Commissioner of Police, Salem city.
- K Periaiah has been given the post of IG, General, Chennai.
- A Arun has been made IG, Administration, Chennai.
- T Senthil Kumar will be assuming the post of IG/ACP, Law and Order, North, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai.
- C Mageshwari has been transferred and posted as DIG, Headquarters, Chennai.
- S Rajeswari has been posted as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police/Joint Commissioner of Police, Law & Order, West, Greater Chennai Police Chennai.
- PK Senthil Kumari has been made DIG/Joint Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai.
