The Tripura government has transferred three IAS officers in the state. The order in this regard was issued on 27th July. The officers who got new postings are Barun Kumar Sahu, Kumar Alok and Apurba Roy.
Kumar Alok of 1990 batch, who is Chief Secretary, Govt. of Tripura, GA (C&C), GA (P&T) and Home (excluding Home, Jail and Home, Fire & Emergency Service Department) has been given additional charge of Forest Department.
Apurba Roy has been given additional charge of Home (Jail) and Home (Fire & Emergency Services) Department. , the 2006 batch officer is serving as Secretary, Planning (including Statistics) and Finance Departments.
A 1992 batch officer Barun Kumar Sahu is placed on compulsory waiting for posting.Presently, he was serving as Principal Secretary, Home (Jail), Home (Fire & Emergency Service) and Forest Deptt.
