A batch of 17 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) probationary officers visited Kashi Vishwanath Dham on Sunday evening to gain insights into the temple’s administration and operational functions.
As part of their nationwide training tour, the probationers—hailing from states such as Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Kerala, Assam, and Union Territories—engaged in discussions on religious management with temple authorities.

The officers began their visit by offering prayers and seeking blessings at the temple. They then participated in an interactive session led by the temple’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Vishwa Bhushan Mishra, and Deputy Collector Mr. Shambhu Sharan. The discussion focused on the governance and management of the shrine by the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, addressing various administrative aspects and answering officers’ queries.
The temple and trust authorities extended their best wishes to the probationers, encouraging them to uphold public service values and contribute to the nation’s welfare in their future roles.
