The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has issued immediate transfer and posting orders for 177 officers in the grade of Principal Commissioner and Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes.
The orders, effective immediately, require officers to be relieved by April 14, 2025, and join their new postings by April 22, 2025. No requests for reconsideration or postponement will be entertained before joining the new posts.
Pr. Chief Commissioners, Pr. Directors General, Chief Commissioners, and Directors General must send compliance reports regarding the relieving and joining of the officers to the Board by April 30, 2025. A copy of the report should also be forwarded to the Pr. ADG (HRM-II), DGHRD.
