The Punjab government assigned additional responsibilities to two senior IAS officers.
The officers and their new charges are as follows:
- Mr. Tejveer Singh (1994-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer), currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Local Government, also holds additional charges of ACS, Industries & Commerce and ACS, Information Technology. He has now been entrusted with the additional responsibility of ACS, Investment Promotion.
- Mr. Kamal Kishor Yadav (2003-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer), serving as Administrative Secretary of school Education, also holds the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Higher Education & Languages. He has now been assigned the additional responsibility of Administrative Secretary, Technical Education & Industrial Training.
These appointments aim to enhance administrative efficiency and strengthen governance in the state.
