The General Administration Department, under the directive of Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Kamal Dayani, has issued the official transfer and promotion orders.

  • Dr. Vinod Ramchandra Rao (2000-batch) has been promoted to the Higher Administrative Grade (HAG) and appointed as Principal Secretary of the Labour, Skill Development & Employment Department, with additional charge as Chief Secretary to the Government.
  • Mr. M Thennarasan (2000-batch), previously Municipal Commissioner, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Sports, Youth & Cultural Activities Department.
  • Mr. Anupam Anand (2000-batch) will continue as Transport Commissioner.
  • Mr. Milind Shivram Torawane (2000-batch), formerly Managing Director, Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (GSPC), has been appointed Managing Director, Energy & Petrochemicals Department, GSPC.
  • Mr. Banchha Nidhi Pani (2005-batch), Commissioner of Technical Education, has been transferred and appointed as Municipal Commissioner, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
