2 IAS Officers Reshuffled in Odisha Tourism Dept, Mansi Nimbhal Made the New Director of Tourism

Bhubaneswar: The Government of Odisha has made a significant change in its Tourism Administration, with the appointment of Ms. Mansi Nimbhal, a 2010-batch IAS officer, as the new Director of Tourism. This appointment comes as Ms. Nimbhal returns from her study leave. Along with her new role, she will also serve as the Managing Director of the Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC).

In a parallel development, Samarth Verma, Director of Tourism and a 2011-batch IAS officer, will take on additional responsibilities. Verma will now also serve as the Managing Director of OTDC, Managing Director of the Odisha Film Development Corporation (OFDC), and Director of Technical Education & Training, Odisha.

This reshuffle is aimed at infusing fresh perspectives and energy into Odisha’s tourism and related sectors, with a focus on improving the overall management and growth of the industry.
