New Delhi: In a significant development, 23 officers from the State Civil Service (SCS) of the Union Territory (UT) segment have been elevated to the prestigious Indian Administrative Service (IAS). The President of India officially approved their appointments on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. These appointments are the result of the Government of India’s consultations with the respective State Governments, addressing vacancies in the IAS cadre for select lists spanning 2021 to 2024.
The newly promoted officers will be allocated to the Joint AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and Union Territories) cadre and will undergo probation until further notice.
