Chandigarh: The Bhagwant Mann led Punjab government has made significant administrative changes with the transfer of three IAS officers on Tuesday.
2009 batch IAS officer Varinder Kumar Sharma has been appointed as the new Director of Food and Supplies, taking over from 2010 batch IAS officer Puneet Goyal, who has not been assigned a new posting.
In addition, 2012 batch IAS officer Surbhi Malik has been appointed as the Director of Industries and Commerce and the Managing Director of the Punjab State Industrial Export Corporation (PSIEC).
The reshuffle is part of Punjab’s ongoing efforts to streamline governance and improve efficiency across various sectors.
