3 IPS Officers Transferred in Punjab, Swapan Sharma Made CP, Ludhiana

The Punjab Government has ordered the transfer and posting of three IPS officers with immediate effect.

Mr. Swapan Sharma (2009-batch Punjab cadre IPS officer), who was serving as DIG, Ferozepur Range, Ferozepur, has been appointed as the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, replacing Mr. Kuldeep Singh Chahal IPS.

Mr. Harmanbir Singh Gill (2010-batch Punjab cadre IPS officer), who was serving as Joint Director, MRS PPA, Phillaur, and DIG, IRB, Patiala, has now been appointed as DIG, Ferozepur Range, Ferozepur, in place of Mr. Swapan Sharma.

The government order also stated that the posting order for Mr. Kuldeep Singh Chahal (2009-batch Punjab cadre IPS officer) will be issued later.
