48 Officers Transferred Across J&K in Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle, Md Ashraf Sheikh Made ADC, Awantipora

The reshuffle includes the posting of 16 Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADC), 23 Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDM), and 9 Assistant Commissioners of Revenue (ACR), covering key districts and sub-divisions across both Jammu and Kashmir divisions.

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Omar Abdullah led Jammu and Kashmir government has transferred 48 officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS). The reshuffle includes the posting of 16 Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADC), 23 Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDM), and 9 Assistant Commissioners of Revenue (ACR), covering key districts and sub-divisions across both Jammu and Kashmir divisions.

The reshuffle, which spans a vast geographical area, includes transfers to strategic locations in the Jammu and Kashmir divisions. Officers have been reassigned to critical positions in districts such as Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Reasi, Doda, Ramban, Poonch, Rajouri, Udhampur in Jammu Division, and Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, Kupwara, Ganderbal, Shopian, Kulgam, and Bandipora in Kashmir Division.

The reshuffled officers will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth administrative functioning and addressing regional needs. Notable transfers include:

  • Mohammad Ashraf Sheikh JKAS: From ADC, Pulwama to ADC, Awantipora.
  • Riyaz Ahmad Shah JKAS: From Joint Director (Administration), Directorate of Rural Development, Kashmir to ADC, Kupwara.
  • Anil Kumar Thakur JKAS: From ADC, Basholi to ADC, Doda.
  • S Sundeep Singh Bali JKAS: From Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Anantnag to ADC, Anantnag.
  • Ramkesh Sharma JKAS: From Deputy Excise Commissioner (Distilleries), Jammu to ADC, Sunderbani.
  • Chander Parkash JKAS: From Additional Secretary to the Government, School Education Department to ADC, Rajouri.
  • Pritam Lal Thapa JKAS: From Member, J&K Services Selection Board to ADC, Nowshera.

Additionally, several officers have been appointed as Sub-Divisional Magistrates, including Mudasir Ahmad JKAS to SDM, Lolab, and Reyaz Ahmad Shah JKAS to Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Kulgam.
