The Punjab government has announced the transfer of one IAS officer and 55 PCS officers with immediate effect. As part of the reshuffle, Ms. Divya P, a 2022-batch IAS officer, who was serving as the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Guru Har Sahai, has been posted as the new SDM of Kharar. She replaces Mr. Gurmander Singh, a PCS officer, in this role.
This administrative move is part of the state government’s broader efforts to ensure efficient governance and better service delivery across key subdivisions.
