With the formation of the new BJP government in Delhi, the administration has moved swiftly to ensure smooth governance. Following the recent appointments in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), the government on Wednesday (19.03.2025) approved the appointment of six DANICS officers as Secretaries to Cabinet Ministers.

The newly appointed officers are:
- Mr. Rajeev Shukla (DANICS:2003) – Previously Special Secretary in Land & Building, he has been appointed Secretary to Minister Pravesh Sahib Singh, overseeing Public Works Department, Legislative Affairs, Irrigation & Flood Control, Water, and Gurudwara Elections.
- Mr. Anoop Thakur (DANICS:2008) – Earlier serving as Director in DDA, he will now be Secretary to Minister Ashish Sood, responsible for Home, Power, Urban Development, Education, Higher Education, and Training & Technical Education.
- Mr. Vadodaria Karanjit P (DANICS:2009) – Formerly Joint Commissioner in Trade & Taxes, he will now serve as Secretary to Minister Ravinder Singh (Indraj), handling Social Welfare for SC & ST, Cooperative, and Election.
- Mr. Vaibhav Rikhari (DANICS:2013) – Previously ADM (North East), Revenue Department, he has been appointed Secretary to Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh, overseeing Health & Family Welfare, Transport, and Information Technology.
- Mr. Mohit Mishra (DANICS:2013) – Earlier Director at NDMC, he will now be Secretary to Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, responsible for Industries, Food & Supplies, Environment, and Forest & Wildlife.
- Mr. Vinay Kumar Jindal (DANICS:2014) – Previously ADM (West), Revenue Department, he has been appointed Private Secretary to Minister Kapil Mishra, who oversees Law & Justice, Labour, Employment, Development, Art & Culture, Language, and Tourism.
Earlier, on February 27, three IAS officers were appointed to the Chief Minister’s Office:
- Ms. Madhu Rani Teotia (2008-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer) as Secretary to the Chief Minister.
- Mr. Sandeep Kumar Singh (2011-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer) and Mr. Ravi Jha (2011-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer) as Special Secretaries to the Chief Minister.
