62 IAS Officers Transferred in Andhra Pradesh: Ch. Sridhar Appointed as Commissioner of Minorities Welfare

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Andhra Pradesh government, led by N. Chandrababu Naidu, has transferred 62 IAS officers in an effort to streamline governance and improve efficiency across various departments. The order for the reshuffle was issued by Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar Prasad.

Key transfers include:

  1. Ch. Sridhar, IAS (2006): Appointed as Commissioner, Minorities Welfare, with additional charge as VC & MD Minorities Finance Corporation.
  2. M.V. Seshagiri Babu, IAS (2006): Transferred from Commissioner, Labour to Inspector General, Stamps & Registrations.
  3. G. Rekha Rani, IAS (2008): Moved from Secretary to Government, Public Enterprises Department to Commissioner, Handlooms & Textiles.
  4. Chevvuru Hari Kiran, IAS (2009): Appointed as Director of public Health and Family Welfare, with additional charge as MD, National Health Mission.
  5. G. Veerapandian, IAS (2009): Transferred to Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Department as Chief Executive Officer, Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP).
  6. M. Harinarayanan, IAS (2011): Appointed as Director, Municipal Administration.
  7. Lathkar Srikesh Balaji Rao, IAS (2011): Appointed as Director, Survey, Settlement & Land Records.
  8. Dr. Mallikarjuna A., IAS (2012): Appointed as Director, BC Welfare, with additional charge as VC & MD, Backward Classes Cooperative Finance Corporation.
  9. Sri Prasanna Venkatesh V., IAS (2012): Appointed as Secretary, A.P. Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (APSWREIS).
  10. Girisha P.S., IAS (2012): Transferred to Consumer Affairs, Food & Civil Supplies Department as VC & MD, A.P. Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd.
  11. Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon, awaiting a posting, has been appointed as Managing Director of AP MARKFED, replacing G. Sekhar Babu, who has been transferred. Dr Samoon will also hold the additional charge of Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) until further notice.
  12. Kritika Shukla, also awaiting a posting, has been appointed as Director of Intermediate Education, relieving Nidhi Meena from the additional charge. Shukla will also serve as Secretary of the Board of Intermediate Education and Director of Adult Education.
  13. Pattanshetti Ravi Subash has been assigned to the Energy Department as Chairman and Managing Director of CPDCL.
  14. Lakshisha G., currently the Chief Executive Officer of NTR Vaidya Seva, has been placed at the disposal of the Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department for the role of Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh Medical Services & Infrastructure Development Corporation (APMSIDC). He will continue as CEO of NTR Vaidya Seva in an additional capacity.
  15. Venugopal Reddy, awaiting a posting, has been appointed as Director of Women’s Development & Child Welfare.
  16. P. Raja Babu, currently Managing Director of Skills Development Corporation, has been transferred to the Housing Department as Managing Director of AP State Housing Corporation.
  17. Nishant Kumar, awaiting a posting, has been named Director of Excise & Prohibition.
  18. G.C. Kishore Kumar has been appointed Managing Director of the Mission for Clean Krishna Godavari Canals.
  19. M. Vijaya Suneetha, awaiting a posting, has been appointed Director of Agriculture Marketing.
  20. Dr. K. Srinivasulu, awaiting a posting, has been appointed Director of Horticulture.
  21. B. Lavanya Veni, Joint Collector & Additional District Magistrate of Eluru District, has been transferred and appointed Director of Social Welfare.
  22. Muttimbaku Abhishikth Kishore, awaiting a posting, has been placed at the disposal of the Industries & Commerce Department as the Managing Director of APIIC. He will also be in charge of being the vice chairman and managing director of APTDC.
  23. Dr. A. Siri, Special Commissioner – SVAMITVA, has been transferred and appointed Director of Secondary Health. She will also serve as Managing Director of APSACS in an additional capacity.
  24. S. Rama Sundar Reddy, Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate of Kakinada has been transferred and appointed as Commissioner of R&R and Commissioner of CADA.
  25. Kirthi Chekuri, IAS (2016), Municipal Commissioner of Guntur, has been reassigned from the Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department to the Energy Department. She will now serve as Joint Managing Director of AP TRANSCO, relieving K.V.N. Chakardhar Babu, IAS (2011), from additional charge.
  26. Gummala Ganesh Kumar, IAS (2016), Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate of Kadapa District, has been transferred to the Skill Development Department as Managing Director of the Skill Development Corporation and Technical Education.
  27. P. Sampath Kumar, IAS (2016), Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate of NTR District, is now assigned to the Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department as Commissioner of GVMC.
  28. B. Navya, IAS (2016), Director of Employment & Training, is moved to Director of Tribal Welfare.
  29. Kothamasu Dinesh Kumar, IAS (2017), Municipal Commissioner of Rajamahendravaram, will now serve as Commissioner of Guntur Municipal Corporation.
  30. Dhyanachandra H.M., IAS (2017), Joint Collector & Additional District Magistrate of Tirupati, is appointed Commissioner of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC).
  31. Praveen Adhithya C.V., IAS (2017), Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate of West Godavari District, is transferred to the CEO of AP Maritime Board, relieving Dr. N. Yuvaraj, IAS (2005), of additional charge. He will also oversee the MD role of APSFL until further notice.
  32. Nishanthi T., IAS (2017), Joint Secretary at the Office of CCLA, AP, is assigned as Joint Collector & Additional District Magistrate of Dr B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema District.
  33. Himanshu Kaushik, IAS (2018), Additional Resident Commissioner at A.P. Bhavan, New Delhi, will now be East Godavari District’s Joint Collector & Additional District Magistrate.
  34. Amilineni Bhargav Teja, IAS (2018), Municipal Commissioner of Kurnool Municipal Corporation, is transferred to Joint Collector & Additional District Magistrate of Guntur District.
  35. Narapureddy Mourya, IAS (2018), Joint Collector & Additional District Magistrate of Kurnool District, will now be Commissioner of Tirupati Municipal Corporation.
  36. Shrivas Nupur Ajay Kumar, IAS (2018), has been transferred to the position of Joint Secretary at the Office of CCLA, AP.
  37. Ganore Suraj Dhananjay, IAS (2018), Project Officer at ITDA Rampachodavaram, is appointed Joint Collector & Additional District Magistrate of Palnadu District.
  38. Kalpana Kumari, IAS (2019), awaiting posting, will be the Managing Director of Girijana Co-operative Corporation Ltd., replacing Suresh Kumar Gedela, IIS.
  39. Ketan Garg, IAS (2018), Joint Collector & Additional District Magistrate of Ananthapuramu District, is now assigned as Commissioner of Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation.
  40. R. Govinda Rao, IAS (2018), Additional Director of Survey Settlement & Land Records, is transferred to Joint Collector & Additional District Magistrate of Kakinada.
  41. N. Tej Bharat, IAS (2018), is assigned to the Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department as Municipal Commissioner of Kadapa Municipal Corporation, relieving G. Surya Sai Praveenchand, IAS (2019).

  51. Tatimakula Rahul Kumar Reddy, IAS (2020), is appointed as Project Officer at ITDA Seethampeta.
  52. Noorul Quamer, IAS (2020), Sub-Collector of Tekkali, Srikakulam District, is transferred to Deputy Secretary to Government, Finance Department.
  53. Farman Ahmad Khan, IAS (2020), previously Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate of Annamayya District, has been reassigned as Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate of Srikakulam District.
  54. Following her transfer, Aditi Singh, IAS (2020), has been appointed as the Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate of Kadapa District.
  55. Sedhu Madhavan S, IAS (2020), formerly Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate of Nellore District, is now posted as Project Officer, ITDA, Parvathipuram.
  56. Pedditi Dhatri Reddy, IAS (2020), previously Sub Collector of Paderu, has been transferred and appointed as Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate of Eluru District.
  57. Adharsh Rajendran, IAS (2020), whose services were withdrawn from the Industries & Commerce Department, has been assigned as Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate of Annamayya District.
  58. Abhishek Gowda, M.J., IAS (2020), formerly Additional Director of Village Secretariats and Ward Secretariats, is now Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate of Alluri Sita Rama Raju District.
  59. Y. Megha Swaroop, IAS (2021), has been transferred from the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department to the – Sub Collector in Madanapalle.
  60. Waikhom Nydia Devi, IAS (2021), previously Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Ananthapuramu, has been posted as Sub Collector in Rajampeta following her transfer from Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department.
  61. V.R.K. Teja Mylavarapu, IAS m(KL:2015), reporting to duty on Inter-Cadere deputation, is appointed as the Director of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development in the Finance Department.
