In a bureaucratic reshuffle, the Maharashtra government transferred seven IAS officers on Wednesday, following five earlier reassignments on March 25.
Ms. Nishi Pandey (2001 batch) has been appointed as Managing Director of Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation, while Mr. Laxminarayan Mishra (2012 batch) takes charge as Joint MD of Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation. Mr. Bharat Bastewad (2013 batch), formerly CEO of Raigad Zilla Parishad, will now serve as Commissioner of MGNREGS in Nagpur. Ms. Indurani Jakhar (2016 batch) moves from her role as Municipal Commissioner of Kalyan-Dombivali to become Collector of Palghar district.
Nagpur Municipal Corporation gains two new Additional Municipal Commissioners: Ms. Vasumana Pant (2017 batch), previously Director General of VANAMATI, and Ms. Vaishnavi B (2019 batch), formerly CEO of Akola Zilla Parishad. Ms. Neha Bhosle (2020 batch) has been posted as CEO of Raigad Zilla Parishad.
The March 25 transfers included Mr. B.H. Palawe (2013 batch), who moved from CEO of Palghar Zilla Parishad to MD of Maharashtra State Financial Corporation. Mr. Manoj Ranade (2014 batch) succeeded him as Palghar ZP CEO after serving as Director of Municipal Administration in Mumbai. Mr. Shubham Gupta (2019 batch) transitioned from Municipal Commissioner of Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad to Member Secretary of Vidarbha Statutory Development Board. Ms. Anjali Ramesh (2020 batch), newly transferred from Madhya Pradesh cadre, took charge as CEO of Hindoli Zilla Parishad, while Mr. Zenith Chandra Deonthula (2022 batch) was posted as Project Officer of ITDP in Kinwat and Assistant Collector of Kinwat Sub-Division.
The reassignments aim to strengthen administrative efficiency across key state departments.
