New Delhi: The Central Government on Tuesday issued a fresh set of appointment and service-related notifications covering senior officers across disaster management, industrial policy and food processing administration.

The notifications include two appointments in the National Disaster Management Authority under the Ministry of Home Affairs, one repatriation in the industrial policy department, and one director-level appointment in the food processing ministry.

Abhinandan Kumar Mishra Appointed Joint Advisor in NDMA

Abhinandan Kumar Mishra, an Indian Defence Service of Engineers (IDSE) officer of the 2012 batch, has been appointed as Joint Advisor, Mitigation Project in the National Disaster Management Authority.

He has been appointed to the non-CSS post for a period of five years.

The assignment places him within one of the key project verticals of NDMA dealing with mitigation planning and disaster preparedness.

Mukul Mohan Gets Joint Advisor Role in Mitigation and Procurement

Mukul Mohan, an Indian Railway Stores Service officer of the 2007 batch, has been appointed as Joint Advisor, Mitigation Project and Procurement in NDMA.

His appointment is also for a period of five years under the Ministry of Home Affairs in a non-CSS capacity.

The role combines mitigation planning with procurement oversight, both considered critical to disaster response preparedness and infrastructure support.

IRS Sanjiv Repatriated to Parent Cadre for Promotion Benefit

Mr Sanjiv, an Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) officer of the 1993 batch, has been repatriated to his parent cadre.

At the time of repatriation, he was serving as Joint Secretary in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade.

According to the notification, the repatriation has been approved to enable him to avail the benefit of promotion in his parent service.

IAS Ramandeep Chowdhary Made Director in Food Processing Ministry

Mr Chowdhary, an IAS officer of the 2008 batch from the Karnataka cadre, has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Food Processing Industries.

His appointment is for a period of five years.

The posting places him in one of the ministries currently central to food sector investment, agro-processing expansion and value-chain policy development.

Appointments Reflect Ongoing Administrative Reshuffle

The latest appointments come as part of the Centre’s continuing administrative reshuffle involving senior and mid-senior level officers across ministries and specialised institutions.

Such appointments often align with project priorities, departmental restructuring and cadre management needs across the Union government.
