Lucknow: In a series of strategic moves, the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has made several key transfers within the Indian Police Service (IPS). This comes shortly after the transfer of 16 IPS officers on Wednesday, and once again, 7 more IPS officers have been reshuffled in the state. Additionally, 20 PPS officers have also been transferred as part of the ongoing administrative overhaul in UP.

Among the significant changes, Amit Verma, previously holding the position of Joint Commissioner of Police (JCP) in Lucknow (LO), has now been appointed as the new JCP Crime. His predecessor, Bablu Kumar, who was previously serving as JCP Crime, has been reassigned to the role of the new JCP LO in Lucknow Police Commissionerate.

Further changes include Upendra Kumar Agarwal, who had been posted at the Lucknow Police Commissionerate for an extended period, now being promoted to Inspector General (IG) Security. Vinod Kumar Singh, formerly the IG Security, has been shifted to the role of Additional Commissioner of Police Crime and Headquarters in the Kanpur Police Commissionerate.

The transfers also saw Pradeep Kumar being appointed as the SP of the Economic Crimes Research Organization (ECRO) in Varanasi, while SM Qasim Abidi has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police in the Kanpur Commissionerate. Additionally, Manoj Kumar Awasthi has been assigned the role of SP LO and Headquarters Director General of Police in Lucknow.

In another wave of transfers that occurred late last night, Vipin Kumar Mishra has been given the additional charge of IG Intelligence Headquarters in Lucknow, while Hemant Kutiyal has been assigned the additional responsibility of DIG Jail. There have also been revisions to the earlier transfers, including Lal Bharat Kumar Pal, who has been moved to the post of Commander of the 25th Battalion PAC in Rae Bareli, and Kamlesh Bahadur, now appointed as Commander of the 49th Battalion PAC in Gautam Buddha Nagar.

PPS Officers Transfer list is given below-

These significant reshuffles come as part of ongoing administrative changes within Uttar Pradesh, demonstrating the government’s focus on strategic placement and enhancing law enforcement capabilities across the state.
