IRS Parthasarathy Bhaskar Devarakonda Appointed Dy Secy, Cabinet Secretariat; Tenure of IOFS Srivastava and IRS Narang Extended

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the lateral shift of Parthasarathy Bhaskar Devarakonda (IRS C&IT: 2012) from his current post as Deputy Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances to the Cabinet Secretariat.

Devarakonda’s tenure in the Cabinet Secretariat will continue up to June 22, 2026, ensuring continuity in administrative functions at the central level.

Extension of Tenure for Deepak Srivastava

The tenure of Deepak Srivastava (IOFS: 2008), currently serving as Director in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has been extended for two years beyond March 12, 2026, until March 12, 2028.

Srivastava has been on central deputation since March 13, 2021, and this extension allows him to continue contributing to policy and administrative initiatives in the ministry.

Abhishek Narang Retains Role as Private Secretary

The tenure of Abhishek Narang (IRS IT: 2008) as Private Secretary to the Minister for Food Processing Industries, Chirag Paswan, has been extended by six months beyond December 31, 2025.

This extension ensures seamless administrative support to the minister’s office and ongoing initiatives in the Ministry of Food Processing Industries.
