The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the repatriation of senior Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Manoj Kumar to his parent cadre on personal grounds.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on June 12, 2026, Manoj Kumar, an IRS (Income Tax) officer of the 1994 batch, was serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM), Ministry of Finance.
The ACC has approved his repatriation from the central deputation post to his parent cadre, citing personal reasons.
