Amrit Mohan Prasad Appointed as Special DG, CRPF

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has sanctioned the Ministry of Home Affairs’ proposal to appoint Amrit Mohan Prasad, a 1989-batch Odisha Cadre IPS officer, as the Special Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

According to an official notification, “The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs for the appointment of Shri Amrit Mohan Prasad, IPS (OD:89), as Special Director General, CRPF in Level-16 of the pay matrix, effective from the date he assumes the post, continuing until 31.08.2025, the date of his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever comes first.”
