The Election Commission of India has appointed several new district collectors, election officers, and police officials in Andhra Pradesh ahead of the LS Polls.
The officers are:
Mr. D K Balaji (2015 batch IAS), Mr. Vinod Kumar (2015 batch IAS), and Mr. Praveen Kumar (2006 batch IAS) were appointed the new DCs of the Krishna, Anantapur, and Tirupati districts, respectively.
The apex poll body also appointed Mr. Sarvasresti Tripathi (2006 batch IPS) as the Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Guntur, Mr. Sumeet Suneel (2015 batch IPS) as the SP of Prakasam district, Mr. Bindu Madhav (2017 batch IPS) as the SP of Palnadu district, Mr. Manikanta Chandolu (2018 batch IPS) as the SP of Chittoor district, Mr. Amit Garg (1993 batch IPS) as the SP of Anantapur, and Mr. Arif Hafiz (2015 batch IPS) as the SP of Nellore district.
