Mr. K Vijayanand (1992-batch IAS officer), currently serving as the Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh, has been entrusted with additional responsibilities. He has been appointed as the Special Chief Secretary for the Energy Department and the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited (APTRANSCO).
This expanded role underscores the government’s confidence in Mr. Vijayanand’s expertise in handling critical administrative and energy sector portfolios.
