Anupam Agarwal has been appointed as the new director of Karnataka Police Academy. Mr. Agarwal is a 2008 batch police officer and is currently Deputy Inspector General of Police. Although, the post of KPA director is reserved for IGP-rank officers. However, the government has downgraded the post and declared DIG and Director, KPA equivalent. On 13th May Mr. Agarwal was appointed KPA’s new director.
