IPS Aparna N has recently been appointed as the Superintendent of Police (SP) in the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for a five-year term, through a circular issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). Officer Aparna N shall occupy her new designation in the NIA for five years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Ms. Aparna N is a 2014-batch Assam-Meghalaya Cadre IPS officer who earlier served as the SP of the Lakhimpur district.
