The Assam government issued transfer and posting orders for two IAS officers and three IPS officers. This administrative reshuffle also included five other police officers from Assam Police Services. According to the recent order issued on 13 September, Rahul Kumar Gupta has been transferred and posted as District Commissioner, South Salmara. He is an IAS of 2019 batch and Assam-Meghalaya cadre, currently serving as ADC, Titabor. Whereas ADC, Biswanath, Ms. Neha Yadav, has been transferred and posted as District Commissioner, Biswanath. She is also an IAS of 2019 batch.
In an another order issued on 15 September 2023, eight police officials including three IPS officers have been transferred. Dr. N. Rajamarthandan, IPS (RR-2006), Superintendent of Railway Police, Pandu, Guwahati is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, FRRO, Barpeta.
Ms. Supriya Das. IPS (RR-2017), Superintendent of Police, Udalguri is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Nalbari with effect from the date of taking over charge vice Sudhakar Singh, APS transferred.
And, Pushkin Jain, IPS (RR-2017), Superintendent of Police, Golaghat is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Udalguri with effect from the date of taking over charge vice Smti. Supriya Das, IPS transferred.
