New Delhi: In a major step toward strengthening preventive healthcare among security forces, the Ministry of Ayush has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Industrial Security Force to promote holistic wellness, yoga, stress management and Ayush-based healthcare services for CISF personnel and their families.

The agreement aims to integrate traditional systems of wellness into the daily routine of security personnel and improve long-term health resilience across the force.

The initiative is designed to support both operational fitness and mental well-being of personnel deployed in demanding security environments.

Ayush OPD Services May Be Introduced at CISF Units

One of the important features of the agreement is the possibility of providing Ayush OPD-level services at CISF establishments wherever feasible.

This may include:

• Wellness clinics

• Traditional therapeutic support

• Preventive health guidance

Under the agreement, the Ministry of Ayush will:

CISF will facilitate implementation across its formations and operational establishments.
