Balmer Lawrie Posts Q2 Net Profit of 49.69 Crore in FY 2024-25

Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd., a Miniratna I Public Sector Enterprise, announced its financial results for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2024-25, ending September 30. The results, reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors in Kolkata on November 5, highlighted a steady performance.

The company’s total income for Q2 FY 2024-25 stood at ₹648.66 crore, reflecting a slight increase from ₹643.62 crore in the previous quarter. Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the quarter rose to ₹68.58 crore, up from ₹57.84 crore in Q1. The company also reported a Net Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹49.69 crore, increasing from ₹46.78 crore in the previous quarter.

For the six months ending September 30, Balmer Lawrie posted a cumulative total income of ₹1,292.28 crore, with a PBT of ₹126.41 crore and a PAT of ₹96.47 crore. This compares to ₹1,197.33 crore in total income, ₹133.86 crore in PBT, and ₹100.74 crore in PAT for the same period last year.
