Navratna defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) on Monday, May 19, announced an 18% year-on-year (YoY) increase in its standalone net profit for the January–March quarter of FY25, at ₹2,105 crore, compared to ₹1,784 crore in the same period last fiscal.
The company’s revenue from core operations also rose by nearly 7%, reaching ₹9,119.7 crore in Q4FY25, up from ₹8,528.5 crore a year earlier. BEL’s total expenses during the quarter saw a modest rise of 1.6% to ₹6,466.6 crore.
Alongside its earnings, BEL’s board recommended a final dividend of ₹0.90 per equity share (90% of the face value of Re 1 each) for FY2024–25, subject to shareholder approval in the upcoming Annual General Meeting. The Record Date for the dividend payout will be announced later.
“The Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held on 19th May, 2025, has recommended a final dividend of ₹0.90/- per equity share… for the financial year 2024-25,” BEL stated in its regulatory filing.
Shares of BEL closed marginally lower by 0.10% at ₹363.55 on the BSE, down from ₹363.90 in the previous session. The Q4 results were announced after market hours.
