Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a prominent Navratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), has reported a remarkable financial performance for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2024-25 (Q1 FY’25). The company witnessed a substantial 46.89 percent year-on-year increase in net profit, soaring to Rs 791 crore from Rs 538.48 crore in Q1 FY’24.
This impressive profit growth was supported by a 20.11 percent rise in sales, which amounted to Rs 4,243.57 crore in Q1 FY’25, up from Rs 3,532.94 crore in the same period last year.
As of July 1, BEL’s order book stood robust at Rs 76,705 crore.
