Bengaluru: Reaffirming its commitment to social responsibility and community well-being, BEML Limited has donated a 16-seater mobile outreach vehicle to the Rajyoga Education & Research Foundation (RERF) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The vehicle will support de-addiction and digital wellness awareness activities across Karnataka, in alignment with the Government of India’s Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (Drug-Free India Campaign).
The vehicle was formally handed over by BEML Director (Finance) Anil Jerath and Director (HR) Debi Prasad Satpathy, in the presence of senior officials from both BEML and RERF.
Designed to reach underserved and remote areas of Karnataka, the mobile unit will facilitate awareness drives, educational sessions, and digital wellness programmes focused on students, youth, and women. The initiative is a significant stride in BEML’s sustained efforts to promote public health, mental well-being, and responsible digital habits.
BEML officials emphasized that the collaboration with RERF underscores the organization’s vision of building a healthier, informed, and drug-free society. The outreach is expected to serve as a catalyst for behavioral change, especially among vulnerable communities, reinforcing the values of inclusion and sustainable development.
This initiative further exemplifies the crucial role of Public Sector Enterprises in supporting national campaigns and fostering grassroots-level impact through meaningful partnerships.
