UP Cadre Welcomes 21 New IAS Officers After LBSNAA Training, District Postings Issued; Topper Shakti Dubey Among Them

According to the official communication, the officers will report directly to the District Magistrates of their allotted districts after passing out from LBSNAA.

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh cadre is set to receive 21 new IAS officers of the 2025 batch, with the state government issuing district-wise field postings ahead of their formal joining after completion of training at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie.

These trainee officers will complete Phase-I of their professional course on April 17, 2026, after which they will be posted in districts as Assistant Magistrates and Assistant Collectors for grassroots administrative exposure.

The posting order was issued by Arunesh Kumar Dwivedi, 2014 batch promoter IAS officer and Joint Secretary to the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

Field Training to Begin After April 17

The district attachment phase is considered one of the most critical parts of IAS probation, where officers are tested in real administrative environments.

Their future substantive postings will depend significantly on their performance during this stage.

Shakti Dubey Among New Officers Posted in UP

Among the newly allotted officers, Shakti Dubey has been posted to Moradabad.

Her name has drawn attention as part of the new batch entering one of India’s most administratively significant cadres.

Personnel Department Appoints Nodal Officer for Joining Support

o facilitate smooth induction, Vijay Kumar has been designated as nodal officer.

He will supervise:

  • Travel arrangements
  • Accommodation
  • Joining logistics
  • Administrative coordination

The state government has directed departments to provide full support during initial district reporting.
