Mumbai: BEML Limited, a leading multi-technology enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has been honored with the prestigious National Award for Outstanding Export Performance at the 55th EEPC India National Awards 2025. The recognition was conferred during a ceremony held in Mumbai, celebrating excellence in engineering exports.
The award was presented by Ashish Shelar, Minister for Information Technology & Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra. Jitendra Kumar, Head of BEML’s International Business Division, received the award on behalf of the company.
Strong Export Performance in FY 2022–23
The award acknowledges BEML’s significant contribution to India’s engineering exports during FY 2022–23. In that period, BEML exported 71 technologically advanced machines to multiple African nations, solidifying its role in international infrastructure and industrial development.
BEML’s global presence now covers more than 1,400 units across 72 countries, including strategic markets in Africa, the Middle East, ASEAN, and SAARC regions. From operating in extreme desert climates to facilitating mining and infrastructure projects globally, the company continues to deliver cutting-edge engineering solutions on the world stage.
